This site has been created as a tribute to the life and work of Elton John. It is information for his fans and a showcase for my personal collection of Elton's music and memorabilia. The site focuses on the late 1960s to 1975 (arguably the most interesting of his career) and I have tried to combine a brief biography and discography using images only from my personal collection. This site is still online, but meanwhile..........
Since this website was launched, I have not only become better at building websites but have expanded my Elton John collection quite a bit. The site is therefore undergoing serious reconstruction work and I hope to launch the new site VERY SOON. Please check back later to see the new look.

The new site will contain updated information about both Elton and my collection, more images and links, downloadable music, and a whole lot more.........Thankyou for looking thus far and I hope you have enjoyed this site so far........ the next one will be even better. See you back here soon. Until the new look arrives, ENJOY.
Elton John is among the most successful musical artists of the modern era. In terms of popularity, he ranks with Elvis Presley and the Beatles among rock and rollers. Moreover, his longevity as an active recording artist surpasses both of them. In 1992, he broke Presley's old record for the most consecutive years of Top 40 hits on Billboard's (US) singles chart, having been a continual presence in every year since "Your Song" debuted in December 1970. A multifaceted talent, Elton John excels as both a ballad-oriented singer/songwriter and a flamboyant rock and roll star. He is also a first-rate musician who elevated the role of piano in a medium previously dominated by guitars (from: The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum Inc).
